About The Photographer
About Me
I am an engagement + wedding photographer in Fort Worth, Texas. More importantly, I’m a human being in constant search of the littlest of things that make life worth living. I’m captivated by Christ and the way He wove a passion for people and photography into my heart. Without Him, I would be nothing and I would also probably still be working an office job from 9-5. I am proud to say that as of October 2018 I am a full time wedding photographer. I get to do what I love the most every day and all my dreams are coming true.
My love languages range anywhere from fresh baked cookies to fluffy puppies, and all great things in between. Thankfully, I’m married to my best friend who happens to share the same interests as me. John and I have cookies at least twice a week and are the parents to the TWO fluffiest pups in the world. In April of last year, I said my own vows and was on the other side of all the wedding action. It was the best day ever and I probably won’t stop talking about it for a really long time.

How It All Started
My love for photography started at a young age. When I was only a few years old, I was often found steeling my parents cameras only to return it with a full roll of film wasted on blurry photos of nothing. Since then I like to think that i’ve gotten at least a little better with my camera.
I taught myself how to use a DSLR in high school. I had my first paid shoot in the fall of 2013. That same year I moved to DFW and started the journey of becoming a wedding photographer. Now, I have been shooting pictures for a little over 6 years, and I couldn’t love it more!

Why I Do What I Do
My title is “DFW wedding photographer” but my passion for photography runs so much deeper than the photos that I take. For me, it’s all about the people. The people like you that let me in on some of their most intimate, memorable, and special moments.
Connections and relationships are at the core of what I do. I’m in love with getting to know my clients, from their sense of humor to their pet peeves, and everything in-between. I love to start a session not knowing someone and leave with a new friend. That is what keeps me constantly excited about photography.
My goal is to inspire love and passion in people, whether that’s my clients, other photographers, or people that see my work. I am truly obsessed with what I do, and I am so thankful that God gives me the opportunity to do what I love every day.
I’m crazy about the people I get to work with and I love seeing them love themselves and each other. My dream is that in some way, my work inspires people to find the passion that I have in their own lives, jobs, and relationships. Because if i’m being honest, it’s the greatest thing in the world.
