An engagement session completely in black and white? I think yes.
Well, kinda. I did send Julia and Zachary a whole bunch of colored images, but I want to give these black and white photos their moment. I’m loving black and white images lately. They’re so timeless. These photos taken at Rockledge Park in Grapevine Texas really popped in all their black and white glory and I’m obsessed.
When I’m editing black and whites, I love to give them a little warmth and a little grain. Think old sepia filters but much more subtle. I think this effect gives the black and white photos that timeless vintage feel without being overkill.
Now let’s talk about this ADORABLE couple.
Julia and Zachary were the lovey dovey, adorable, romantic, sweet couple that we all love to see. From the moment we all arrived at Rockledge Park in Grapevine we had a blast. Their lakeside engagement session was one for the books and I am so excited to share it with you all!

You can clearly see all the laughs and smiles in these photos. I love how happy and in love they look even in only black and white. But of course, I couldn’t leave out a few photos in color for you all to see this sunset in action.
