MAN, you guys. I had such a hard time editing these golden hour engagement photos because no edit seemed to do these two justice.
Alyssa and Christian were NATURALS when it came to being in front of the camera. They were so full of love during their East Texas engagement session, and it was so much fun to capture! Im superrrr happy to be sharing this collection of golden hour images with you all, so let’s get to it!
A + C were probably the two sweetest people I’ve photographed in awhile. Immediately upon arriving to the engagement session in East Texas, they welcomed me with open arms and made me feel so comfortable. We talked about everything from how they met to their jobs. Coincedently, Alyssa is a florist. So we obviously had so much to talk about both working in the wedding industry!
Christian and Alyssa are also the sweetest love birds EVAH and laughed through the entire session, so they made my job SUPER easy. I love when I meet an engaged couple and they just vibe right off the bat. That’s how A + C were. They immediately started flirting with each other and snuggling close and it was so sweet! I hardly had to give them any direction during our shoot which was great! It made their engagement photos turn out so natural and effortless, which I LOVE!!
THE PROPOSAL
Christian proposed in a garden at sunset in the middle of June! He invited me over for a sweet dinner on the back porch of this white country home, and walked me around the land until we turned the corner into the garden. After he asked, we walked around with all the lighting bugs and picked flowers to dry to remember the special moment. It was perfect and lowkey!
THE ETX LOCATION
Something really cool about this session is that we were able to take the photos where they met over 3 years ago! All this pretty land is about 30 minutes outside of Tyler, TX and is home to YWAM. YWAM is a summer camp in East Texas. Christian still spends time there and knows a lot of the staff, so it was fun to make jokes about them watching us through the windows haha! I love that this beautiful location had a special meaning to these two and their relationship!
Alyssa and Christian are getting married in TWO short months, so you will be seeing more of them and their wedding day very soon! I’m so excited to be their wedding photographer, and I can’t wait to share more of their adorable love story with you all!
