I cant get over how much fun it was to work on this moody styled shoot with some of my favorite wedding vendors in Fort Worth, TX.
With moody styled shoots becoming increasingly popular in the wedding industry, I thought it was time to plan another one. Thankfully, back in September, my sweet friend Crystal with Funky Town Affairs agreed to put on this amazing styled shoot with me. And it was so fun!
THE MOODY WEDDING STYLE
Our goal was to show a moody wintery style and be a little outside of the box. To say she nailed the decor and design is a COMPLETE understatement. Her moody wedding decor ideas were exactly what I pictured for the day, and she pulled it off so well! The vintage furniture, dark florals, touches of fruit as decor, and dreamy gold details came together SO perfectly. This shoot definitely proves that you don’t have to have a blush and white color scheme for your wedding to pull off a beautiful day.
The moody vibe of the styled shoot was perfectly offset by the soft lace details of the Alexandra Grecco Marcelle wedding dress our model wore. The tulle details throughout the skirt of the wedding dress were SO perfect. Honestly, I wish I could take pictures of this dress every day. The dress was provided by lovely bride in Dallas, TX which just so happens to be the place where I purchased my wedding dress earlier this year. If you are going dress shopping in the DFW area, I highly recommend Lovely Bride!
Our models were a couple that lives in Fort Worth, and it was so fun to see them actually love on eachother. The whole time we joked about calling an officiant to marry them right then and there lol! I love using real life couples for styled shoots because it makes it seem that much more real and emotional.
Thanks again to everyone who helped execute this moody styled shoot. We appreciate y’all more then you know!!
